THE LAST ARCADE
The Last Arcade are an 80s-inspired synthwave and synth rock band from Liverpool, England. Formed in 2020, the band comprises vocalist Ste McNally, guitarist Paul Garrett and keyboardist and producer Steve Erickson. Drawing inspiration from artists including Foreigner, Tears for Fears, Depeche Mode and Genesis, alongside The Midnight and The Weeknd, they build their songs around analog synth textures, driving guitars and modern production.
“When We Were Young” introduced the band in 2021, attracting international radio support and earning in-store and onboard playlist placements with British Airways, Boots, Sainsbury’s and Costa. Their 10-track debut album, Timelines, captures the first chapter of their catalogue through songs including “People Like Us,” “Nobody Knows” and “Time of Our Lives.” More recent releases include “Older,” “Looking for Love,” “Why Did You Leave Me” featuring Tricia McTeague, and “Grace.” In 2026, the fifth-anniversary video for “When We Were Young” revisited lost Liverpool landmarks and was featured by the Liverpool Echo.
BAND MEMBERS
The Last Arcade are Ste McNally, Paul Garrett and Steve Erickson, bringing together decades of experience in songwriting, performance and production. Ste is a vocalist and songwriter with more than two decades in the music industry and is also a member of BBMak. As co-writer of the band’s hit “Back Here,” he received a 2002 ASCAP Pop Music Award when the song was honored as a Most Performed Song. Paul is a guitarist and songwriter who toured internationally with 10 Reasons to Live, writing and producing six studio albums. His career has also included supporting Bryan Adams on the UK leg of his tour and appearing on Universal Records’ 50 Years of The Cavern. As a songwriter, Paul has written for many successful artists and bands in multiple countries around the world. Steve is a songwriter, producer and keyboardist whose work since the early 1990s has included music for television and radio, Disney and Andy McCluskey of OMD.
